Fast Five Blu-ray and DVD set to be released on October 4th with Second Screen Blu-ray app

Fast Five

It has been confirmed that the Fast Five Blu-ray and DVD would hit market on October 4th, including biopics on Brian O’Connor and Dom’s characters, a gag reel, deleted scenes, commentary from director Justin Lin, and an “Enter Federal Agent Hobbs” featurette. Both releases will come as combo packs, with a digital copy as well. The Blu-ray combo pack will come with an additional new Blu-ray app from Universal Home Entertainment, named Second Screen Blu-ray app

Basically Universal’s “Second Screen” will use electronic portable devices to bring you extra Blu-Ray features and interactive elements. The concept uses an updated version of pocket Blu to achieve this, so I don’t really understand how it is a separate entity, but either way it will allow viewers to check out interactive features on tablet PCs and the like. You can check out more information on second screen here or check out the list of second screen extras, below.

The successor of Twilight Saga, The Hunger Games released flash movie poster

The Hunger Games
The Twilight has been a great success worldwide for its exciting love story and the excellent movie plot. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn includes two parts, with the part 1 theatrical released on November 18th of this year and the Part 2 to be released on November 16th of 2012. Breaking Dawn would not be an end, as Lionsgate Entertainment has planned a successor to the Twilight Saga, the Hunger Games, the film adaption of popular novel of the same name, which is going to be theatrical released on March 23 in 2012. Recently, Lionsgate has revealed a flash movie poster for The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games is adapted upon the same name youngster sci-fi novel written by Suzanne Collins. The movie tells that US has been destroyed in a great war. People reconstructed their homes on the wasteland. But there is a rule by the new government that all the 12 administrative regions must send young boys and girls to compete in a TV live program called "The Hunger Games". The rule of the game is quite simple: to kill others or be killed by others. Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) volunteered to take her sister's place to protect her sister. Although Katniss could overcome the difficulties in the TV program, it is a challenge for her to win the game as that would mean her becoming a total killing machine.

The Hunger Games novel includes three parts, respectively The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay. But Lionsgate plans to make these trilogy four sequels, just like the Twilight Saga. As the successor of the Twilight Saga, the Hunger Games must be also as popular as the previous one.

If you are a huge fan of the Twilight Saga and The Hunger Games, then you might have to wait for some month to see the whole movie of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1 and the Hunger Games movie. However, you can go to Amazon and get the New Moon and Eclipse Blu-ray/DVD currently while waiting for the theatrical release of these movies. You can freely watch these Blu-ray and DVD discs at home with your own Blu-ray player or DVD player, or watch them on your own portable devices like iPad, iPod, PlayBook, etc. with the help of a Blu-ray ripper or a DVD ripper.

But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. Mater finds himself torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret mission orchestrated by master British super spy Finn McMissile (Michael Caine) and the stunning spy-in-training Holley Shiftwell (Emily Mortimer)

Winnie the Pooh (theatrical released on July 15th by Disney)
Do you remember the theatrical release date of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2? Yes, this popular animated movie Winnie the Pooh was also theatrical released on July 15th, the same day as that of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. "Ever have one of those days where you just can't win, Eeyore?" asks Pooh. Owl sends the whole gang on a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply set out to find some honey.
